Com o MOOC de Machine Learning, Maths &amp; Ethics, nosso objetivo \u00e9 projetar e produzir o primeiro de uma s\u00e9rie de cursos on-line que podem dar a jovens mulheres um sabor de carreiras em CS, juntamente com conte\u00fado relevante de diferentes t\u00f3picos de ML. Prevemos usar diretrizes espec\u00edficas para a concep\u00e7\u00e3o de conte\u00fado de equil\u00edbrio de g\u00eanero, que inclui textos, imagens e entrevistas, focados em projetos pr\u00e1ticos e da vida real. Em seguida, durante a execu\u00e7\u00e3o do(s) curso(s) online, diversos recursos ser\u00e3o disponibilizados por meio de um plugin educacional, como v\u00eddeos motivacionais, narrativas e gamifica\u00e7\u00e3o, que dar\u00e3o suporte \u00e0 jornada de aprendizagem das meninas inscritas no(s) MOOC(s). O projeto est\u00e1, portanto, ligado aos MOOCs Fostering Women to STEM (FOSTWOM), e integra-se tamb\u00e9m na \u201cIgualdade de G\u00eanero em STEM\u201d, uma parceria entre a Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro e o Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico. Os indicadores que mostram quantas mulheres s\u00e3o afetadas podem ser encontrados em estudos de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es como a UNESCO[1] e a Comiss\u00e3o Europeia[2]. Alguns fatores que contribuem para esse problema (e est\u00e3o relacionados \u00e0 nossa proposta) s\u00e3o: falta de visibilidade para projetos desenvolvidos por alunas STEM; linguagem inclusiva insuficiente; falta de grupos\/salas espec\u00edficos onde sejam acolhidos; preconceito geral em grupos de tecnologia e, finalmente, poucas oportunidades de est\u00e1gio concedidas. A solu\u00e7\u00e3o motivacional \u00e9 uma narrativa, adaptada da Hero\u2019s Journey, desenvolvida por Joseph Campbell [3], e da Heroine\u2019s Journey desenvolvida por Murdock [4] para a \u00e1rea educacional, com foco em aprendizes do sexo feminino em cursos STEM.
